About Captain Kid

Captain Kid is a handsome, one-year-old boy with medium energy who walks nicely on leash and absolutely loves treats. He’s always happy to soak up snuggles and body scratches and is just as content chilling out with his people as he is learning something new. Captain already knows sit and does well when introduced to new commands, showing how eager he is to learn. Like many young dogs, he can get a little mouthy when he’s excited, so a home without toddlers would be best—but this is something that can be worked on with training and consistency. When it comes to other dogs, Captain appears a bit under-socialized and was somewhat unsure during his assessment. He was never aggressive, instead choosing to keep to himself and wait for other dogs to move along. While he may seem confident when you first meet him, Captain can be a little uncertain at times. What’s certain is that this lovable boy is ready to find a patient, understanding family who will love him for exactly who he is and help him continue to grow. Could you be the home for Captain Kid?
